1- Transport Manager (UAE Nationals)
Job: Full Time
Location: Dubai, UAE

Description:

Plan, direct and manage transport fleet deployed, ensuring that it meets Dubai transportation standards in terms of service delivery, quality control, a safe on-time performance and related health & safety standards whilst maintaining cost control.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop the fleet management strategy, the strategy must be cognisant of technological advances in automotive engineering and fuel efficiency, harmonizing equipment types, reducing overall unit & operating costs and CO2 emissions.
• Manage the 3rd Party Logistics Provider service contracts, ensuring that the service delivery, safe on-time performance, regulatory, Health, Safety and Statement of Work (SOW) standards are met.
• Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with all key partners and stakeholders whilst ensuring service expectations are delivered in the most efficient manner possible.
• Establish, review and refine business continuity plans to mitigate risk and delivery of operations e.g. weather, IT systems, resource & equipment shortages, infrastructural challenges, unplanned volume fluctuations etc.

Job Requirements:

• 8+ years in Facilities/Maintainance or Equipment Operations
• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
• Experience in transportation systems & services.
