System Engineering Manager – Radio
Job: Full Time
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Responsibilities:

1. Together with a THALES team of Waveform Engineers, define the new Waveform.
2. Make simulations at required levels : signal processing and physical layer (Matlab), network or system.
3. Participate in the writing of specifications and design documents for the new Waveform within a co-engineering team.
4. Manage the integration and verification of the Waveform on the SYNAPS radios.
5. Adhere to project schedules, strategies, policies and constraints.

Job Requirements:

1. Experience Requirements, approximately 5 years experienced in : Digital Radio Communication System Engineering, Digital Radio Communication Integration and Verification, Versed in Software Defined Radio and SCA standards.
2. Graduated from Engineer School (equivalent to Master of Science) with skills in : Telecom Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Signal Processing.
3. Civilian or Military telecom skills covering L1, L2, L3 OSI protocol layers.
4. System engineering process covering a whole development life cycle from specifications to final validation.
5. Network or System Modelling (Model Based System Engineering).
