General Description:

The Data Scientist will work in Alshaya’s Digital Transformation team to prioritise, build and operate high value advanced analytic products for Alshaya. As a priority, we will focus on data science use cases that directly impact our ambition for best-in-class frictionless omnichannel customer experience.

This is an enterprise-wide role, with the remit to benefit all our brands, in all our markets of operations, across all channels.

Job Responsibilities:

• Data Science delivery: build and operate high value advanced analytic products for Alshaya

• Prioritised Backlog Management: identify potential high value use cases for data science, and add them to the prioritised backlog; develop sponsorship with relevant stakeholders; prototype, plan and productionise

• Innovation: use a data science lab structure to foster a culture of continual experimentation with advanced analytics

• development of no/low code and customised models
