First Choice and QHSE Support Manager
Job: Full Time
Location: Dubai, UAE

Description:

The job holder will be responsible to support to the group and country strategy on continuous improvement and deployment of First choice tool across the functions. Support the Sr. First Choice manager on activities related to organizational excellence, improvement initiatives and engagement activities.

Support the QHSE function on maintaining quality objectives and maintaining effective quality management system in line with the department priorities and focus points.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Act as an ambassador for DHL at all times and attend to customer needs in a professional, friendly and courteous manner
2. Maintain proactive work processes to ensure teamwork, shuttle procedures and overall base performance is achieved
3. Support the First Choice Sr. Manager on deployment of First Choice tools and training as appropriate, provide analysis and benchmark processes externally and internally as appropriate to ensure that DHL also strives towards achieving best practices report
4. Monitor and analyse performance statistics and investigate root cause of service failures, recommending improvements as appropriate to drive continuous service improvement
5. Organise and monitor the effectiveness of training in quality, improvement initiatives and quality / business improvement tools to identify areas that can be further enhanced/improved

Job Requirements:

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal style
2. Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
3. Expertise in H&S legislation and best working practices
4. FC Champion Master Bronze is preferred but not a must.
5. A university degree or equivalent is required
