Description:

To ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and company procedures mitigating against such legislation to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the implementation of OSHE management procedures to ensure compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Abu Dhabi (OSHAD) & Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD) legislation. 
• Manage the Occupational Health & Safety team on a day to day basis to ensure the safety of employees within Etihad Airways Engineering. 
• To liaise with external parties including sector and other regulatory bodies in regard to all OSHE requirements. 
• Pro-actively promote OSHE within all areas of Etihad Airways Engineering in compliance with local legislation and international standards. 

Job Requirements:

• NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Management & NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management (held for 3 years or more).
• Registration with OSHAD as a Practitioner at minimum grade A level, registered with IOSH at GradIOSH or higher. 
• 15 years minimum experience within high risk related working environments practicing health, safety & environment management.
