Job: Full Time
Location: Dubai, UAE

Description:

Machinist based in Dubai, reports to Shop Supervisor. As a Mechanical Seal – Machinist, will be responsible for manufacturing mechanical seal components as per parts drawing. Also perform different operation in workshop such as cutting, turning, milling and drilling operation as per requirement. Perform Mechanical Seal assembly and testing as and when required. Also Support other operations in shop floor.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsibilities for maintaining safe workplace and comply with Flowserve applicable safety, Health and Environment standards, Policy, rules and procedures.
2. Report safety incidents, unsafe working conditions and/or potential hazards.
3. Requires the ability to use hand tools which may include various wrenches (manual, electrical or pneumatic), torque wrenches etc.
4. Participate and Contribute to process improvements activities within the facility.
5. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Job Requirements:

1. Education and Experience: Industrial Training Institute Certificate from recognized institute in Machinist or Millwright mechanic or equivalent with minimum 5-year experience in relevant field.
2. Communication: Should read, write and speak english, and interpersonal skills.
3. Certificates/Licenses: Industrial Training Institute Certificate from recognized institute in Machinist or Millwright mechanic or equivalent
4. Ability to work in a matrix organisation with multicultural background.
5. Excellent interpersonal, communication and team person skills.
