1- Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs
Job: Full Time
Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Responsibilities:

• Collectively, manage and drive LEX initiatives to ensure full delivery of corporate plans and to build a sustainable business for the long term
• Provide a vision for regulation management and direction in actionable terms and ensure consistent application across ME
• Have a strong grip on laws & Regulations for GCC countries, additionally needs to have knowledge of the political systems, government processes and key personalities within government and civil society
• Identify, define and promote a regulatory environment consistent with both British American Tobacco business goals and business principles to ensure that the company can operate successfully and, in a manner, consistent with its values.

Job Requirements:

• A relevant degree from reputable university with at least 8-10 years’ experience in regulatory management, legal aspects of regulation or political campaign management or a mix thereof
• In depth and up to date knowledge and understanding of socio-economic and political environments, current affairs, role and influence of NGOs, public policy-making processes and regulatory structures and processes.
• Must have an analytical, interpretive, innovative, and constructive approach to problem solving, with an ability to think strategically
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – exceptional engagement & influencing skills
