Description:

As an Engineer you are responsible to assist the Director of Engineering on all matters related to the repairs and maintenance operation of the physical plant and engineering facilities within the hotel. The role involves maintaining all mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment

Job Responsibilities:

• Organize and set up preventive maintenance programmes for all electrical and mechanical equipment, including general building works
• Supervise maintenance employees and contractors who are carrying out minor building work, electrical and mechanical installations
• Write specifications for all electrical, mechanical and associated building works, complying with the local government regulations
• Decide and agree with the Chief Engineer / Director of Engineering on the priorities of all electrical and mechanical projects

Job Requirements:

You should be holding a degree in mechanical and electrical engineering and should have at least three years experiences in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry. A good command of written and spoken English and the ability to find fault and rectify subsystems are essentials.
