Description:

The role holder is responsible for providing support in formulating, implementing and executing the planning strategies and buying plans, and management of assortments and inventory level for brand/category/sub-category. The role holder also ensures smooth buying and planning operations through vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation and selection, in compliance with the contract principles to achieve the strategic and financial objectives of the brand/category/sub-category of products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyzes and monitors current and future trends to identify current and future risks and opportunities
• Monitors brand/category/subcategory plans based on the insights gained from store analytics/ consumer preference/ trends/ future outlook.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends in planning to assess alignment/realignment of existing processes
• Assist in generating periodic reports on consumer behavior, consumer trends per product etc. to facilitate decisions to maintain, liquidate or dispose-off products or continue/discontinue with the brand/category lines

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Buying or Planning and Merchandising or its equivalent
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Beauty Background preferable
