Description:

Purpose of this job is to support the Data Management practice within the Data Governance department. The Data Steward will help expedite GMG data management maturity curve. The role will ensure data is maintained in utmost completeness, accuracy, and freshness whilst adhering to the data framework.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Data Steward in all data management activities
• Perform all master data maintenance tasks in SAP (Article creation, Article Listing, and other data management/maintenance issues).
• Sense check of Article data once created in the Master Data Governance tool (SharePoint)
• Continuous communication with the data producers/consumers, if any incorrect / incomplete data is identified.
• Receive data management requests (through in-house ticketing system) and ensure SLA’s are adhered to.
• Serve as a liaison between departments for all data product related inquiries and issues.
• Provide updates and progress reports when requested.

Job Requirements:

• A graduate information management or data governance qualification
• 2+ years’ experience working within Retail, FMCG, Health or Manufacturing industry specific to data management role.
• Experience working within information management discipline and understanding of information management practices
