Description:

As a Commis II, you will be responsible of the preparation and presentation of all dishes assigned according to customers satisfaction and hygiene standards under the general guidance of the Demi Chef De Partie /Chef De Partie in accordance to the hotel’s Policies and Procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef de Partie & Demi Chef in the production of the mis-en-place for the elaboration of  all menus according to standard recipes
• Ensure that high quality production are achieved but keeping in mind the cost control
• Manage time effectively by meeting deadlines on time
• Assist the Chef de Partie in the production and distribution of food items according to requirement
• Handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.
• Perform departmental cleaning duties in the assigned section / outlet as per the established cleaning schedule in coordination with the Stewarding Department

Job Requirements:

• Positive attitude
• Previous relevant work and hospitality experience.
• Flexibility to respond to a range of various work situations
