Description:

The MENA Amazon Marketplace team is looking for a talented, customer-obsessed Senior Category Manager to help shape the future of our Marketplace. The CMM role offers the unique opportunity to own a sizable portion of a product family P&L while also driving large scale, high visibility projects across a variety of internal teams and product families.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Support weekly, monthly and quarterly monitoring and reporting of performance in MENA (UAE, KSA, EGY).
2. Create business plans for new opportunities and develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies.
3. Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight deadlines for high visibility projects.
4. Partner with global teams (i.e. tech, catalogue, risk etc.) to drive Category growth.
5. Transform customer insights into projects, features and processes to stimulate selection growth and to enhance Customer Experience.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.
2. 5+ years of professional experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
3. A strong background in category or product management, along with related business experience.
4. Well-versed in Excel and SQL.
5.  Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to interpret large amounts of data and make sound business judgments and recommendations.
