Description:

Provide a comprehensive Computer Aided Design, a drafting service and technical information to Capacity Planning Logistics (CPL) department to cover the increased workload and business requirements for AutoCAD support on various initiatives related to Baggage Handling System, Hold Baggage Screening, Cargo, Internal Roads, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

• Update DXB/DWC Baggage and Cargo System Layouts reflecting all the recent changes.
• Provide support to the team on BHS facilities design, Transport and Land use Planning teams by translating the concept /schematic layouts into CAD.
• Provide support to the team in development of BHS and Cargo system layout in 2D and 3D CAD.
• Ability to take onboard ideas from team members and translate these ideas into the generation of high-quality visual representations in both 2D and 3D in a range of output themes from rough sketches to detailed compositions as and where required.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering/ equivalent and above
• Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling CAD design programs. Auto CAD and Solid Edge experience with Knowledge in BIM, REVIT preferable
• Minimum 2 – 3 years of work experience in the field of mechanical design. Candidates with relevant work experience in the field of Material Handling Systems are preferred
• Ability to read and understand Architectural, Mechanical & Structural Drawings as well as knowledge of drafting standards (AUTOCAD)
