1- C-17 Electrical Field Engineer

Description:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to provide on-site Field Engineering support to the United Arab Emirates Air Force in Abu Dhabi, UAE as an integral part of a multi-discipline team in conjunction with the C-17 Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment Program (GISP) contract.

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply knowledge of Boeing C-17 design and engineering principles to assess and resolve operational issues through the aircraft’s lifecycle

• Apply engineering principles and experience to research technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer

• Develop and release interim and permanent engineering dispositions to ensure aircraft airworthiness and overall operational safety and effectiveness

• Use innovative approaches and unique applications to solve complex nonconforming conditions

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience with aircraft sustainment or service engineering

• 5+ years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing aircraft electrical and avionics systems

• Able to occasionally travel domestically, work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessary

• Customer-facing, or equivalent, experience

• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment

• Experience with C-17 aircraft
