Description:

The Associate Manager of Expo’s Programme for People and Planet plays a critical role in design and implementation of the Flip Your Worldview programme, International Days and Vision 2071.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage Expo’s Flip Your World View Programme in partnership with Gap minder to tackle global misconceptions via a data-driven, analysis and research approach.
2. Identifying and securing a lead UAE government partner and a lead International Organisation for each of the Days.
3. Member of the Expo China Working Group to develop Expo’s relationship with China and attract Chinese businesses and partners through China business roadshows.
4. Design of the Flip Your Worldview Series session during the event time’s Global Goals Week and arranging for partner and country participation at Expo-managed events.
5. Facilitation of integration with Expo’s Mobile App and ensuring the content of the reports will be displayed across Expo’s digital screens and website during event-time.

Job Requirements:

1. 4+ years or more of experience in research and/or programme, management (preferably in the international relations context).
2. A Bachelor’s degree within a relevant field.
3. Structured thinking: identifies gaps and overlapping elements; structure programmes/ideas/initiatives from scratch.
4. Implementation: develops robust implementation plan for programmes/ideas/initiatives.
5. Research: quickly identifies the right data sources; picks up relevant information, and synthesize complex and confounding information into simple insights.
