Description:

Provide leadership, build the capabilities, connect with and motivate team members both on an individual level and as part of the team. Protect and enhance the VOX culture through management of direct reports and influence over cinema teams to support the company mission.

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily routine of a snap shot review of the previous days sales and attendance numbers first thing in the morning. An email to CM probing the numbers; to be followed up with a phone call later in the day. Each Thursday a review of the just completed weeks sales and attendance numbers published by finance.
• Complete a full compliance audit of the site FOH/ BOH / Finance. Audit to be reviewed with CM and an action plan agreed and issued. Minutes and actions circulated to H&S Manager and Facilities Manager
• It is critical to the success of the AM that they are highly visible and approachable in the operations to all staff and management. This will require frequent visits in and out of an office hour’s routine. The month should be planned in advance so that effective visits are scheduled in evenings and weekends. Normal meetings and observations should be scheduled at these times plus attention to customer interaction. Two days per week maximum in Head Office.
• From time to time complete a competitor cinema visit and file a report on business standards , offer , Food and Beverage , trends

Job Requirements:

• Strong communication skills in English,
• A minimum of 10+years relevant, demonstrated experience and proven track record in Cinema, F&B or Leisure & Entertainment similar industry in a management role
• Graduate in any discipline
