General Description:

Manage and develop the accounting team by establishing effective mechanism for proper recognition of all financial transactions and reporting to ensure compliance with Aramex policies and procedures and the international accounting standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide advice to accountants to ensure compliance with Aramex policies and procedures and international accounting standards.
• Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
• Validate financial data in Aramex financial software and ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with Aramex financial policies and procedures.
• Establish and enforce guidelines within the station to ensure reduction of over- heads.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
• English Proficiency
• MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook, ACCPAC is a plus)
• 6 plus years’ Experience in accounting.
